today, I just so happened to learn something new.
me & emalee went to school together today ; & we ended up getting to school half way through second period. we went to go buy our tickets for this soccer thing in the gym, but we had to get it signed. so we went around, trying to look for our teachers. but we couldnt find them. people said they were in the caf. so we went into the caf, but there was a chruch type thing going on. it was really touching, I only watched like, ten minutes of it, & I almost cried. but at the end, one of the girls were talking to all the ladies in the caf. & she said something along the lines of this ..
" To the ladies in this room, remember - you girls are queens. I've watched queens get off their throwns, go down to the gutters & pick out themselves a bum. No, you don't deserve that. Because you deserve nothing less than a king. Don't go chasing after a man, sit back & let them come to you. "
I obviously don't think that highly of myself, but it's true - I don't deserve a "bum". I deserve a king. after everything, the heartbreak, the pain, the tears - that not only I went through, but probably every other girl has gone through - we deserve alot more than what some of us settle for. we settle for less than what we deserve, & that isn't right. so I guess this is to all the ladies out there reading my blog - don't settle for anything less than you deserve. You're a queen, you deserve nothing less than a king.
